Note
Copper ports must be set to Auto-Negotiation, the default, to
function at 1000Mbps. The network devices must be IEEE 802.3u
compliant.
Note
Copper ports that are connected to devices that do not support
Auto-Negotiation should not use Auto-Negotiation to set speed and
duplex mode. Otherwise, a speed or duplex mode mismatch might
occur between the devices, resulting in reduced performance. You
should set speed and duplex mode manually on copper ports that
are connected to devices that do not support Auto-Negotiation.
