Connection to an RS-232C Master Device
Set the same communications conditions (baud rate, stop bits, data length, and parity) for the master device, the Interface Converter, and
slave devices.

With RS-485 communications, connect a terminating resistance (120

, 1/2 W recommended) to both ends of the communications link/network.

The Bulletin 900-TCx communications number must be set.

A pre-fabricated 3 m RS-232 cable with a 9-pin female D-shell connector on one end and three flying leads at the other is available from Allen-Bradley
(Cat. No. 900-CP1X).

To use the USB mode requires the download of free software into your PC. This software can be found at the
Bulletin 900 Temperature Controller website:

Once at this site, go to "Get Software" (upper right of screen) and click on "Virtual Communications Port USB Driver" and follow the instructions.
