Creating a User-defined
Data Type
User-defined data types (structures) let you organize your data to match your
machine or process.
EXAMPLE
User-defined data type that stores a recipe.
ATTENTION:
In a system of several tanks, each tank can run a variety of recipes. Because the recipe requires a mix of data types (REAL,
DINT, BOOL, so forth), a user-defined data type is used.
ATTENTION:
An array that is based on this data type would look like this example.
