Preparing the tool

After reading and understanding this entire
manual, connect the tool to the air supply.

Pull the follower all the way to the rear until it
latches.

Insert a strip of approved fasteners, being sure to
orient the fasteners with points down. Slide the
fasteners forward to the front of the magazine.
The magazine can hold two full strips of
fasteners.

Depress the follower release lever, allowing the
follower to slide forward against the fasteners.

Adjust the directional exhaust deflector so deflect
the exhaust air blast away from the operator. The
exhaust deflector provides eight detented
positions for directing the exhaust blast. Grasp
the deflector and rotate it to the desired position
for the current application.
WARNING! ALL AIR LINE COMPONENTS (HOSES, CONNECTORS,
FILTERS, REGULATORS, ETC.) MUST HAVE A MINIMUM WORKING
PRESSURE RATING OF AT LEAST 150 PSI (10.3BAR) OR 150% OF
MAXIMUM SYSTEM POTENTIAL, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
WARNING! NEVER POINT THE TOOL AT
YOURSELF OR OTHERS IN WORK AREA.
CAUTION: FASTENERS MUST POINT

WILL BE DRIVEN.
