USB Connection

If you are using a USB connection you will have one wire which attaches the GPS receiver
to the laptop through its USB port. Plug the receiver into the laptop after Windows is
finished booting up.

Windows XP Users:

When you first connect your USB receiver, you might see a Windows

message indicating that the drivers have not passed Windows Logo testing (or a similar
warning). Ignore this message and click

Continue Anyway

if it appears.
