ADVANCED OPERATIONS
CTCSS/DCS Scan
After pressing
key, the top left corner of LCD displays " ", then press
to enter CTCSS / DCS scan. When signaling scanned matches the setting of the
transceiver, stop for 15 seconds then scan again. Press any keys except
,
,
to exit scanning.
Offset Direction
In standby state, press
key, the top left corner of LCD displays " " icon, press
key to choose offset direction.
(+):
Positive offset, TX frequency is higher than RX frequency.
(-):
Negative offset, TX frequency is lower than RX frequency.
Select OFF for simplex operation.
NOTE: This function is invalid when the main channel is in channel display mode or
current mode without signaling setup. Scan CTCSS when the current channel is set
to CTCSS, scan DCS when the channel is set to DCS.
Turn main dial to change the CTCSS / DCS scan direction.
Frequency Scan, Channel Scan or FM Search
While receiving, after pressing
key, while icon is displayed on the top left corner, press
key
to begin frequency scan or channel scan. Scan-resume condition can be set in the set mode that will be
