Steps
1. Align and place the touchpad into the slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE: Turn the computer over and open the display. Ensure that the touchpad is equally aligned along all four sides.
2. Replace the three screws (M1.6x1.8) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Replace the five screws (M1.6x1.8) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE: The five silver screws (M1.6x1.8) with larger heads indicated in red need to be secured along the top side of the
touchpad while the three black screws (M1.6x1.8) with smaller heads need to be secured along the bottom side.
4. Fold down the keyboard cable.
5. Slide the touchpad cable into the connector on the keyboard-controller board and close the latch to secure the cable.
