again to confirm the setting.
4.5 Step 2: Configure Privacy Mask
The PRIVACYS submenu is used to create privacy blanks (masks). These blanks are used to cover sensitive areas on the live video to
prevent that content from appearing in live view and recorded video. The blanks cover the same areas even when the camera pans
or tilts, and they automatically adjust their size when the lens zoom changes. You can create up to 8 privacy blanks. To create a
blank:
1.
Open the
PRIVACYS
submenu from the OSD
MAIN MENUS | DOME SETTINGS
menu.
2.
Click
Iris+
to change the BLANK NUM field.

Use the
p
and
q
buttons to change the number shown for the blank number. Blanks can be numbered from 1 .. 8.
4.
Click
IRIS+
to create the blank.
5.
Move the position icon to the SET BLANK option, and then click
Iris+
. The POS (position) adjustment screen will open.

Use the
t

u
,
p
and
q
buttons to position the blank box over the center of the area you want to block (see left screen
above).
