9. WIFI Recommendation Setting
9.1 Check the WIFI configuration on the base unit
Please use Wi-Fi analysis software to check the Wi-Fi environment, in order to select clean or unused WIFI
between the 2.4GHz and 5Hz frequency. Wi-Fi channel as below:
2.4GHz: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
5GHz: 36, 40,44, 48,149, 153, 157, 161
9.2 Check the Wi-Fi RSSI on dongle or Mobiles
Please use a Wi-Fi analysis software to measure the WIFI RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). We
recommend that the RSSI should be above -70dB to be strong enough to keep a stable signal transmission. If
not, follow the trouble shooting guide---
Bad wireless connection congestion.
10. Trouble Shooting
Below are remedies to potential trouble shooting issues you may experience while using the “ WirelessMedia ”.
Problem Cause Solution
While using the “ WirelessMedia
for Android” or Airplay for IOS,
the base unit is not discoverable.
WIFI password of base unit
changed when android or IOS
device is connected to the
Wi-Fi
of the base unit.
Reconnect the mobile by entering
password showed on the home
screen.
The image quality on the main
display screen is poor. The quality or length of the cable
between the Base Unit and the
display is insufficient or the
connection between
these two is faulty.

Replace the cable

Use a high-quality cable.

Ensure the cable connection
is secured properly.
Improper resolution for the main
screen.
WMB1 could not
output:
3840x2160_60Hz,
3840x2160_50Hz
3840x2160_30Hz,
1920x1080_60Hz,
1920x1080_50Hz,
1920x1080_30Hz

Change the resolution within
the setting configuration.
Match it to the native
resolution of the main screen.
