MAINTENANCE
The US 4.3 Alfa Romeo Battery Charger is maintenance-free. The charger must not be opened;
doing so will invalidate the warranty. If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced. The charger
casing can be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. Remove the plug from the power
socket before cleaning.

*) Back current drain is the current that the charger drains the battery with, if the wall socket is
disconnected.
**) Quality of the current and voltage are very important. High current ripple heats up the battery
and makes the positive electrode age prematurely. High voltage ripple could harm other equipment
connected to the battery. The US 4.3 Alfa Romeo Battery Charger produces a high quality current
and voltage with very low ripple.
