Instructions for operation
Working with the 2.2 kW high pressure washer
− The high pressure jet must not be pointed at organisms (persons, animals), live
equipment or the 2.2 kW high pressure washer itself.
− Always wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, protective
gloves, protective goggles, ear protection etc. when working with the 2.2 kW high
pressure washer.
− Place the 2.2 kW high pressure washer on a stable, level surface. Only operate it in
an upright position and never in a horizontal position.
− Make sure that there are no persons or animals in your work area.
− Before you begin any kind of cleaning, check the work area for objects that could
pose a risk. Remove all objects that you could stumble over from the work area,
e.g. toys or garden furniture. Make sure that all doors and windows are firmly
closed.
− Always ensure that you have a stable stance, especially considering the
possibility of kickback when you depress the trigger of the spray gun.
− Always switch the 2.2 kW high pressure washer off and depressurise the system
before fitting or removing accessory parts, cleaning or maintaining the 2.2 kW
high pressure washer and if you leave it unattended, even for a short period of
time.
− After switching the 2.2 kW high pressure washer off, always engage the yellow
safety lock for the trigger to prevent accidental triggering of the high pressure
jet.
− The high pressure jet could damage surfaces. Maintain adequate distance to
painted or other sensitive surfaces and if necessary, test it on an inconspicuous
area.
− Be particularly careful when cleaning tyres. Car tyres and tyre valves could be
damaged or pop if handled improperly. Discolouration of the tyres indicates the
first signs of damage. Damaged vehicle tyres and tyre valves pose a risk to life.
Keep the high pressure jet at a distance of at least 30 cm!
− Cleaning car motors and other objects contaminated by oil and lubricants is only
permissible on areas where the waste water is diverted by an oil separator.
− Do not spray down any objects that contain substances that are hazardous to
health (e.g. asbestos).
− Keep the high pressure jet away from the mains cord and the high pressure hose
and make sure that they are not run over, crushed or otherwise exposed to stress.
− Only operate the 2.2 kW high pressure washer in well ventilated areas and do not
cover it to prevent overheating.
