7.  When the engine is idling, first press the throttle interlock (7) and then push the 

throttle (8) to accelerate (fig. 1).

Adjusting the line length, fig. 16, 7.1

To adjust the line length, press the thread coil (2) onto the ground while the engine 

is running at maximum speed.  The nylon line is automatically released and cut to the 

correct length with the blade (A).

1.  To switch off the engine, move the on/off switch to (6).

2.  Wait until the thread coil (2) stops rotating and put the device down.

NOTE!

Product damage!

The friction causes the cord of the start pull cord to wear through, thus wearing out 

faster.

Switch off the motor before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work.

Disconnect the spark plug connector from the spark plug.

NOTE!

Product damage! 

Water entering the housing can cause motor damages. In addition, a jet of a high-pres-

sure cleaner may damage parts of the product.

Clean the product with a cloth, a hand brush, etc.

Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid and do not wash it with a 

high-pressure cleaner.
