Assembly and operation

Unscrew the tank cap and remove it.

Pour in the fuel carefully, avoid spilling.

Screw the tank cap on firmly by hand.
Draining fuel
1. Hold a collection container beneath the fuel tank.
2. Unscrew the tank cap and remove it.
3. Allow the fuel to run out completely.
4. Screw the tank cap on firmly by hand.
WARNING!
Always close the fuel tank cap firmly.
WARNING!
Immediately clean all traces of fuel which may have dripped on the machine or
the ground and do not start the engine until the fuel fumes have dissipated.
Starting the unit
Do not start the unit until it has been completely assembled. Before switching on the unit,
always check fuel/oil.
Check before use!

Do not operate the device unless you did not find any faults. If a part has become defec-
tive, make sure to replace it before you use the device again.

Check the device for leaks

Check the device for visual defects.

Check that all parts of the device have been securely fitted.

Check that all safety devices are in proper condition.

Before starting work, always check the ground and remove all objects which could be
thrown by the device.
Starting the engine, fig. 1, 9 - 12
Once the machine has been set up properly, start the engine as follows:
1. Place the device on a hard, level surface.
2. Move the on/off switch (6) to (I) to switch on the device.
3. Pull the choke lever (9) upwards to the
position (fig. 9).
4. Press the fuel pump (15) 10 times.
5. Pull the start pull cord (10) until the engine starts briefly for the first time (fig. 11).
6. Wait briefly and then set the choke lever (9) to the
position (fig. 12).
