Intended use/General Safety Warnings
WARNING!
For your own safety, please thoroughly read this manual and the general
safety instructions before turning the device on. If you give the device to third parties,
always include these instructions.
The equipment is allowed to be used only for its prescribed purpose.
Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not the manu-
facturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind resulting from such misuse.
V. General safety warnings
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or who have insufficient
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
and instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children must be supervised so that they do not play with the product.
1. Training
• Read through the instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the
controls and the proper use of the product.
• Never allow children or persons who are not familiar with these instruc-
tions to use the product. The relevant laws of a country may specify a
minimum age for the operator.
• Never mow while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
• The operator or user is responsible for the consequences of hazards to
which other people or their property are exposed.
• Do not run the engine indoors. The exhaust gases contain harmful car-
bon monoxide.
2. Preparation
• Always wear suitable footwear and long trousers during cutting.
• Do not operate the product if barefoot or wearing sandals.
• Thoroughly check the area where the product is to be used; remove all
stones, sticks, wires, bones and other objects.
• Check the cutting blades, pins and cutter for visible damage or wear
before each use. Replace worn or damaged blades and screws in pairs
to ensure balance.
• Be careful with multi-blade products as one cutting edge may cause
other blades to rotate.
3. Sawing
• Only use the product in daylight or with good artificial lighting.
