To take a photo
The screen acts as the viewfinder. First, position the
object or landscape within the viewfinder, tap the
screen to adjust the image focus to a specific point or
object, and tap the Capture button . The photo will
be automatically saved. You can also touch and hold
to take burst shots.
To take a video
Swipe to the right on the Camera Mode carousel to
enter Video Mode, then tap the Record Button
to start video recording. You can also tap the Camera
Shutter icon
to take a picture during video recording.
Tap
to pause video recording and tap again
to
continue. Tap
to stop recording. The video will be
automatically saved.
Further operations when viewing a picture/video you
have taken
• Slide left or right to view the photos or videos you
have taken.
• Tap
, then Gmail/Bluetooth/MMS/etc. to share
the photo or video.
• Tap
to return to Camera.
7.1.1 Modes and settings
Slide left or right to switch between modes.
• PANO
Tap to enter Panorama mode. Tap the Capture
button to start taking panoramic photo and move
the phone steadily along the direction indicated by
the onscreen line. Once the photo is complete, it will
save automatically.
• TIME-LAPSE
Capture a series of photos and convert them into a
sped up time-lapse video.
• INSTANT COLLAGE
Choose from different layouts. Instant Collage will
automatically fill the layout with the next photo as
you capture. Once the layout is filled, approve or
reject the collage.
Settings
• Grid
Turn on
to enable grid view. It divides the screen
into equal parts and helps you take better photos
by making it simple to align elements, such as the
horizon or buildings, to the lines in the grid.
