2. Start up the RAID Option ROM RAID Utility by booting up the system. During the
POST (Power-On Self Test), you will be given an opportunity to enter the RAID
Option ROM RAID Utility. The screen will prompt you as follows: Press <CTRL-I> to
enter Configuration utility…
Press the <CTRL-I> key to enter the RAID Option ROM Utility. The first screen will
display as shown. On this screen, choose the “Create RAID Volume” option and press
<Enter>.
3. Upon initial configuration of your disks, you will see the “CREATE VOLUME MENU”
screen as shown below. First, type in a name for your RAID volume (note that the
name cannot exceed in 16 characters). Press <Enter>.

On the same screen, as shown below, select either “RAID 0 (Stripe)” or “RAID 1
(Mirror)” according to your configuration requirements. Then press <Enter>.
