1.2. Features
• AES/EBU audio input/output interface for the audio daisy chain bus (AUDIOCHAIN) of a
TL2000 line terminal.
• The AUDIOCHAIN is an interface provided by the backplane of a UR2000 mounting
frame that can be used to transmit up to 16 audio channels in each direction between
two or more modules installed in adjacent slots.
• The module includes a total of eight AES/EBU digital audio interfaces that can be
configured as eight inputs, eight outputs or four inputs and four outputs.
• The module includes a switching matrix that allows free assignment of audio signals
between the AUDIOCHAIN and the AES/EBU inputs and outputs.
• Module control and supervision can be done remotely when the mounting frame is
equipped with a communications controller module.
• Low power.
