PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSES
REMEDIES
Burner does not start.
a) Disconnection of the boiler thermostates.
b) Fuse break.
c) Gas pressure switch is over setted or
disconnection.
d) Earthing problem.
e) Gas pressure switch misconnection.
f) Burner motor thermal switches off.
a) Check the connections.
b) Check the fuses.
c) Set the gas pressure switch to 3-
4mbar lower and check the wiring.
d) Check the earthing.
e) Connect the gas pressure switch to
normally open connectors.
f) Set the thermal switch current to
fan current.
Burner starts the pre-
purge but switches to
error mode and warning
lamp indicates.
a) Gas pressure switch is set to high value.
b) Air presence in the gas line.
c) One of the main solenoid valves is not operating.
c-1) One of the solenoid valves may be closed.
c-2) One of the solenoid valves may be stucked
with dirt.
c-3) One of the solenoid valves is not connected to
power.
d) Bad ignition transformer.
e) Improper amount of air flow.
a) Set the gas pressure switch to 3-
4mbar lower than desired value.
b) Discharge the air in the gas line
through the measurement nipples.
c) Disconnection of power to solenoid
valves. Check the min 200V of power
supply.
c-1) Set the main solenoid valve
regulated and the safety valve fully
open.
c-2) Clean.
c-3) Check the min 200V power
supply.
d) Check the ignition transformer.
e) Change the air flow and check
again.
Burner makes the pre-
purge but combustion
does not start at all.
a) Air pressure switch setted to high value than
desired.
b) Misconnection of air pressure switch wiring.
a) Set the value to 1mbar lower while
running with nominal air flow.
b) Air pressure switch must be
plugged to normally open
connections.
Flame forms but does
not progress more.
a) Improper current on ionization eloectrode.
a-1) Ionization electrode tip is not in the flame.
a-2) Ionization electrode does not form the desired
current.
a) Check the electrode placement
a-1) Check by referring to the
“Electrrode Settings” chapter.
a-2) Check the current of 15
A on the
serially connected ampermeter, by
referring to the “Ionization Control”
chapter.
Burner motor does not
start.
a) Motor thermal switch error.
b) Improper power supply.
c) Error mode because of over heating.
d) Motor – control unit disconnection.
e) Bad motor.
a) Check the thermal switch, set the
current again reset the burner.
b) Check the 380/400 V of pwer
supply.
c) Restart.
d) Check the connections.
e) Check the motor.
