The PA Series pasture aerators from Bush Hog are designed for use anywhere soil
compaction exists. Available in eight foot or ten foot models, the PA Series units are
equipped with twisted shanks that serves both to lift and fracture compacted soil. This
dual action design improves the intake of water and nutrients and creates improved soil
growing conditions. The PA Series aerators are ideal for a wide range of potential users
including hay producers, cattlemen, sod farmers and landscapers. The angled rotor
adjustment from 2.5º to 7.5º allows the user to achieve even more soil fracturing as the
gangs are offset. Its heavy duty bearing hangers support the twisted shank rotors. These
units have a built-in weight box to ensure maximum soil penetration (weights are not
included).
At least 20% or the tractor’s weight must be on the front tires with the implement lifted to
provide adequate traction for safe steering under good conditions. Slow down on hills,
rough terrain, and curves.
Front and rear, and left and right are determined by the normal direction of travel (the same as on your
automobile).
Carefully read the Operator’s Manual completely, understand the Safety Messages and instructions, and know
how to operate correctly both the tractor and aerator.
