Unpacking and assembling the ride-on mower
39
ADVICE
The electrical connection of the seat
to the ride-on mower is a prerequisite
for being able to start the engine of
the ride-on mower (seat sensor).
ADVICE
To remove the seat (e.g. for subse-
quent maintenance tasks), follow the
reverse sequence.
Assembling and attaching the grass sack
(05)
1. Assembling the frame:
a) Attach the upper part (05/1) to the lower
part (05/2) and the reinforcement (05/3).
For this, use the 2 bolts (05/4), the 2 nuts
(05/5), and the 2 washers (05/6).
b) Attach the 2 cross braces (05/7) to the
frame using the 4 studs (05/8), and then
secure them using the 4 split pins (05/9).
2. Join the assembled frame and grass trap net
(05/10):
a) Insert the frame into the grass trap net so
that all plastic profiles and frame tubes
fit together on the circumferential outer
edge.
b) Press all plastic profiles firmly around the
frame tube for this purpose, until they
have completely enclosed the frame tu-
bes.
3. Join the cover to the grass box: Use the 2 front
bolts (05/12), the 2 rear bolts (05/13), and the
4 nuts (05/14) to connect to the grass box.
4. Push the ejector pipe into the holder for the
grass box, and secure it using the securing
stud (05/8) and the split pin (05/9).
5. Attach the upper part of the frame of the grass
sack (06/1) respectively in the left and right
slots of the holder (06/2).
6. For this, exactly align the two arrows (06/3)
on the engine cover and the grass sack with
each other, so that the sack hangs straight.
CONTROLS
Dashboard
The components of the dashboard (21/1) are ex-
plained below.
Slider control for engine speed, with
integrated choke (07/1)
Moving the controller increases or reduces the en-
gine speed, and in the uppermost position it ac-
tivates the choke.
The purpose of the choke is to supply the engine,
when it is cold, with a richer fuel/air mixture so that
it starts easily.
The further you push the controller towards the
"hare", the quicker the engine runs. The further
you push the controller towards the "tortoise", the
slower the engine runs.
Switch on the choke: Push the control-
ler all the way towards the choke symbol.
Use this position exclusively for starting
the engine.
ADVICE
When the engine is running
smoothly, slowly push back the
controller.
For mowing operation: In this position, the
engine runs at maximum speed.
For idling: In this position, the engine runs
at the lowest speed.
Display LED for malfunctions or warnings
(07/2)
The display LED illuminates when the ignition key
is in position (1) DRIVE, and remains illuminated
throughout the whole time of operation. The fla-
shing of the control light indicates the cessation of
a release signal for the operation of the engine.
The engine stops under the following circumstan-
ces:
Alarm
Reason
Flas-
hes
once
Grass sack is lifted or rear deflector
is removed while engine is running.
Flas-
hes
twice
Operator leaves the seat, but conti-
nues to actuate one of the drive pe-
dals.
Flas-
hes
three
times
Operator leaves the seat without ap-
plying the parking brake.
