is empty.

Always transport the engine horizontally, oth-
erwise the following will occur:

Leaking fuel and oil

10 STORAGE
NOTE
Observe the operating instructions
for the lawnmower.
WARNING! Danger of explosion and fire.
Petrol and oil are highly flammable. Fire can lead
to serious injuries.

Do not store the appliance close to naked
flames or sources of heat.
■
Do not store the appliance in a room in which
electric tools are operated.
If the lawnmower is not used for a long time (lon-
ger than 2 to 3 months), the fuel must be drained
off to avoid deposits in the fuel system. With a
shorter idle period, the fuel can be protected with
a fuel stabiliser.
