Selecting a DVD Menu
Notes: The operation may differ depending on the disc used. Selecting a menu may not be
possible on some discs.
1. Press D.MENU during playback, the main menu screen will appear.
2. Press
/ / /
button (or the number buttons) to select the desired menu.
3. Press OK and the selected menu playback will start.
Chapter / Track Skip
Skipping Forward
Press
button during playback to skip to the next chapter / track.
Skipping Backward
Press button during playback to skip back to the previous chapter /track.
NOTE:
You can skip only through the chapters, not over the title on the DVD disc.
Title Search (DVD)
Press GOTO button on the remote control, then press the number buttons to enter the desired title
number.
Repeat Playback
Press REPEAT on the remote control button during playback to activate repeat mode.

Basic playback functions
If this symbol appears on the TV screen during operation, the function you are trying
to access is currently not available on the disc.
1.
Turn on the TV and press [SOURCE] to select the input source as DVD.
2.
Insert the disc (label facing away from you) into the disc slot (side panel) until it clicks.
The TV will start playing the first file/track/chapter automatically.
Note: Regardless of the mode you have selected, when you insert a playable disc into
the disc slot, the TV will switch to DVD mode and start playback automatically.
3.
To temporarily stop playback of a CD, press to stop playback, press it again to
resume playback.
To temporarily stop playback of a DVD, press
■
once to stop playback, press it twice
to stop playback completely.

Repeat playback
Press [REPEAT] during playback to activate repeat mode:
A-B repeat
(designated range repeat playback)
1. Press [A-B] during playback at the beginning of the section you want to repeat (Point
A). ‘‘
A’’ appears on the TV screen.
2. Press [A-B] again at the end of the section you want to repeat (Point B).
‘‘
AB’’ appears briefly on the TV screen.
3. To return to normal playback, press [A-B] again.
IMPORTANT!
1.
The DVD
default password is ‘‘0000’’
------ you need that to enter the
password/lock menu so that you can set your own password.
2.
If you forget the password you have set, you have to enter the master
password: ‘‘4711’’. This will clear your set password and go back to the default
password, which you can change, if you wish.
