Possible Cause Remedy
1) Battery is discharged
2) Engine kill switch set to “OFF”
3) Side stand is set down and gear
engaged
4) No fuel in the tank
5) Fuel level is low
6) Water or Diesel in the fuel
7) No spark at the plug.
8) Faulty fuel pump relay
9) Battery leads are loose
10) The fuse is blown
1) Check/replace side stand switch
2) Set the switch to “ON”
3) Replace the fuse
4) Clean / replace the spark plug
5) Replace the plug cap
6) Check the connections / replace
7) Check the connections / replace
8) Check / replace
9) Check / replace
1) Charge the Battery or replace
2) Set the engine kill switch set to “ON”
3) Select neutral or pull in the clutch
4) Replenish the fuel
5) Add fuel
6) Contact your AJS Dealer
7) See the next section
8) Replace the fuel pump relay
9) Tighten the battery leads
10) Replace the fuse,check for electrical
short
