Unlike the five pre-built System Modes just described, each of which are "safe,"
Advanced Mode does not guard against a user applying contradictory settings
that could provide unpredictable results.
Characteristics of Advanced Mode include the following:
• For custom configurations
• Has no native default settings
• Can be used to iterate and expand upon the five pre-built System Modes
described above
• Provides free-range access to:
• Video Clock Mode
• Packet Protection Mode
• Frame Sync Mode
• System Mode
• Audio Sample Rate Converter
• When selected, Advanced Mode will retain the settings of the previously
selected System Mode, and the user may proceed to customize settings as
desired. This means that any of the System Modes can be modified using
Advanced Mode and then saved as a Preset on the Presets screen.
NOTE: When working with Advanced Mode, if the configuration settings become
problematic, you can always "revert" to one of the five pre-built System Modes to
get the unit running again with established internally compatible settings.
