Channel, or in a 4K Group, or for a V+K Group
Encode/Decode

Decoding NDI to SDI (Orange)
Source Name
For SDI this would be, for example, HD Channel 01
For NDI, this might be a string of numbers and/or letters
NOTE: When a Bank is grouped, then its constituent channels
lose their source names HD Channel 01, 02, 03, 04 and instead
the entire group is now entitled 4K Group 01. This will be shown
on the Video Tile, unless a Custom Name has been entered/
applied.
Custom Name
Instead of relying on the Source name, the Custom name
can be used to help operational efficiency. Under the
Custom Name column, you can edit channel names to match
your naming conventions or to best support your unique
installation. Will be displayed instead of the Source Name
when "labels" are activated using the Control Bar Monitor
Tab. If populated, then this is the name shown in the Video
Tile.
Favorite
For NDI Sources only. In the NDI Network section, selecting
a Favorite star for a specific NDI Source causes a star to
populate the corresponding Favorite column in the Active
Mapping section.
SDI Format
For SDI inputs, BRIDGE NDI 3G will always output NDI with
the same video format.
SDI ColorSpace
For SDI inputs, BRIDGE NDI 3G supports YCbCr, 4:2:2, 10-bit
uncompressed video.
SDI Audio
PCM
NDI Format
For NDI inputs that are non standard rasters or rates as
compared with SDI, BRIDGE NDI 3G provides the choice
of preserving smaller rasters within a black frame or else
scaling them thus leaving black only at the top and bottom
(letterbox) or side to side (pillarbox). The Scale Control is
found on the Individual Channel/Group Screen.
NDI ColorSpace
BRIDGE NDI 3G supports UYVY, 8-bit for standard video,
UYVA, 8-bit for video plus alpha channel.
NDI Hx is supported for input and P216, 16-bit for output.

NDI uncompressed (float)
Subscribe to NDI Sources for Specific Channels
Where an Engine is set to decode NDI to SDI, it is possible to select the NDI source
directly from the Source/Destination Screen.
For NDI sources, under the Source Name column, you can select from the
drop-down selection of available NDI sources to subscribe to for that particular
channel. The drop-down list will show all detected sources available on your
network. Further down the page, you can see everything that is on your NDI
Network.
Selecting NDI Source from Source/Destination Screen
With the NDI sources shown, you can select them, give them custom names
(45-character limit), and tag them as favorites for easy reference.
