Figure 32. Selecting Pair of Audio Channels for Monitoring
Audio Monitoring Continuity
Continuity of Audio Monitoring is preserved when moving between Menu
Screens. For example, if you are monitoring HD Ch 2 on the I/O Screen, and then
you select the SRC/Dest screen or System Settings, the audio monitoring for HD
Ch 2 would not be interrupted. Even though the Video Tile for HD Ch 2 would no
longer be displaying, the audio would continue until it is either muted or until a
new video tile, channel, or group is selected.
Clicking on an individual Channel/Group Screen will also change the Channel/
Group being monitored (if it differs from the current selection).
Audio Monitoring vs. Audio I/O
The Metering Toggle and the Speaker Toggle buttons only impact monitoring on
the I/O Screen > Canvas.
It will have no affect on the Audio metering which takes place on the Control Bar,
since meters on the Control Bar are showing actual Audio I/O - which is never
affected by monitoring controls.
This is true for both of the following:
• Control bar > Monitoring Tab > MultiChannel Audio metering
• Control bar > Audio Setup Tab > Channel/Group metering
Control Bar – Video Setup Tab
Video Setup: NDI>SDI toggle to switch direction (cabling changes may be
required).

Engine Controls
Use the Encode/Decode Cog buttons to change the direction of an Engine.
When an Engine is encoding from SDI to NDI, it is blue and indicates the SDI to
NDI direction, as shown here in
