2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The gas type to which the boiler will be connected should correspond the boiler is equipped with.
A mains of 220 Volt / 50 Hz is required. Your combi boiler should be connected safely to a ground line. The mains plug
and the cord supplied together with your appliance must be used. The mains power connection should be done through
2A fuse and 3x1.5 mm2 insulated cable. Do not operate any other electrical appliance on the same line. Line and neutral
ends of the cable is marked, make sure that the connection is done according to the instructions, otherwise your
appliance shall not operate.
Installation of your combi boiler should be carried out only by an authorized Airfel dealer or authorized installers.
Installation and commissioning as well as the repairs during operation shoud be carried out by Authorized Airfel Dealers.
Your combi boiler is designed for heating water, so that this appliance must be fitted to a sealed heating system which
conforms to the heating capacity and performans of your your boiler.
The location where the combi boiler is installed must be very well ventilated.
If any problem occurs with your combi boiler, cut off the mains power supply of your device, shut off the main gas supply
and follow the instructions shown in the installation instruction & user's manuel
Check regularly the manometer pressure on the control panel. If the pressure has dropped down 1 bar, re-pressurize
it to 1,5 bar.
If you will not use your combi boiler for a short period, in order to prevent that pipework, radiators and combi boiler
itself to be frozen, keep the combi powered and mains gas valve is open. Otherwise, frost protection system will not
run.
If you will not use your Sealed Central Heating system for a long period, be sure to cut off the mains power and shut
off the mains gas valve. In order to prevent that pipework, radiators and combi boiler itself to be frozen, drain the
water from Combi Boiler.
If any leakage occurs switch the combi boiler off and call the installer.
To be able to operate your combi boiler efficiently for long years, you are requested to accomplish annual maintenance
regularly

Do not use your combi boiler for the purposes for which it was not designed.
Before cleaning the outer surfaces of your combi boiler, pull the plug out.
Do not store or use any combustible and explosive materials (paper, thinners, paints etc.)inside or within the vicinity
of the appliance. Do not place easily flammable and nylon labels on the combi boiler.
If you smell gas, do not smoke, avoid from open flame and sparks, do not use telephone and ligthing switches. In such
cases, please follow these instructions:
1. Open the windows and the doors,
2. Shut off the main gas valve,
3. Call the local gas distributer and Airfel Service.
4. Follow the instructions of the local gas distributer. ( see the warning label on the gasmeter)
Do not permit to the children and unexperienced people to operate the combi boiler.
Do not pull, twist or cut electrical wiring cables.
Do not use gas and/or water pipes for connection of the ground line.
In the event of an appliance fault, please read the operation manual carefully.
Do not permit any other people for servicing and repairing of this boiler except Airfel authorized service personnel.
Check the authorization certificate of the service personnel.
To be able to operate your combi boiler efficiently for long years, you are requested to accomplish annual maintenance
regularly.
Do not touch to the combi boiler with the bare and wet hand.
Do not drink or use for cooking the domestic hot water produced by combi boiler
Aprox. 2.7 lt of water should come out of the domestic hot water system before you use the hot water. Otherwise, your
combi boiler shall not operate in the domestic hot water system mode.
3. IMPORTANT POINTS TO OPERATE YOUR COMBI WITH HIGHER EFFICIENCY
Various room temperature control instruments ( i.e. room thermostats etc.) ensure more economical operation.
Thermostatic radiator valf applications are very important for energy saving and help to save aprox. 10% of energy.
Make heat insulation for your house.
Heat losses at the roof is aprox. 20%. A proper roof insulation is adviced.
Heat losses at the doors and windows is aprox. 15%. Be carefull for the heat losses at the doors and windows.
Use insulation boards between walls and radiators.
Lower room temperature means lower gas consumption.
Keep the curtains closed in the nigths and let the sunshine enter to the room in the days.
Do not blockage front and top of radiators with wooden covers, marbel plates etc. Otherwise, fuel consumption will
increase aprox. 15%
Set the room temperature in accordance with the comfort conditions.
Considering the heat losses of your house, do not operate your combi boiler continiously by switching it ON and OFF.
Operating combi at minumum temperature, specially, when you are out of the house or in the nights could help for
energy saving.
Regular maintenance of your appliance will help you for energy saving.
