5.4 Operating The Appliance
Initial start up must be carried out by an Authorized Airfel Service personnel.
Open al the valves on the heating system and radiators.
Connect the mains plug
Open the gas valve.
Set the central heating system water temperature controller to the desired temperature
between 35
O
-80
O
C.
The Green LED on the control panel will flash.
Winter Mod
Connect the mains plug to the wall socket.
Open the gas valve.
Set the central heating system water temperature controller to the desired temperature
between 35
O
-80
O
C. The Green LED on the control panel will flash
Central heating system water temperature is displayed through the thermomanometer
Domestic Hot Water Mod
While the combi boiler is operating on the winter mod, If you open one of the domestic hot
water valves, it will automatically go to the domestic hot water mode. In this case The green
led will flash to indicate that the combi boiler is operating on the domestic hot water
mode.
Turn the domestic hot water temperature controller clockwise to adjust the desired level.
If there is no demand for domestic hot water and you turn off the hot water valve, then combi
boiler will go back to the sealed central heating system mode.
Attention :
Domestic Hot water Temperature Controller must be set to the desired temperature
between 35
O
-55
O
C. If the controller is set to another position, the combi boiler will not operate
on the domestic hot water heating mode.
Summer Mod
Connect the mains plug.
Open the gas valve.
Set the central heating system water temperature controller to the summer mod.
Aprox. 2.7 lt of water should come out of the domestic hot water system. Otherwise,
the combi will not operate on the domestic hot water heating mode.
Domestic hot water temperature controller must be set to the desired temperature between

-55
O
C. If the controller is set to another position, the combi boiler will not operate on
the domestic hot water heating mode
While the combi boiler is operating on the summer mode, If you open one of the domestic
hot water valves, it will automatically go to the domestic hot water mode. In this case the
green led will flash to indicate that the combi boiler is operating on the Domestic Hot
water mode.
