Unpacking the Unit
Installation should be completed in the following order:
1. Unpack the unit and check the contents against the list below.
2. Mount and level the unit, ensuring that the stated clearances and airflow requirements are observed. Check the
condensate drain is in the correct position and that the hose is free from damage or kinks.
3. Complete the electrical installation of the unit.
The electrical installation and commissioning must take place before the water side installation and
commissioning can start.
CAUTION
Do not flush the system through the unit and this will cause debris to build up inside the pipework,
coil and valves.
Do not remove the actuators during installation and flushing. Actuators must only be powered open
or closed using the valve override plugs provided.
CAUTION
4. Complete the pipework installation.
5. Bleed the air vent on the coil.
6. Check the PIC valve settings are correct, or adjust as necessary.
7. Commission the thermic valves using the valve override plugs provided. Please note that the valve actuators must
only be powered open or closed and must not be manually opened.
8. The Artus unit is now ready for configuration for master/slave operation, room operator units or BMS integration.
