Not enough humidity

•  Humidity level is not set high

enough

•  Bottles are empty

•  Dirty wick

•  Turn humidity level up

•  Increase fan speed

•  Fill humidifier with water

•  Replace wick

Fan not operating (digital

display is illuminated)

•   Ambient humidity level is not

3% or more below selected the

humidity level.

•   Bottles are empty.

•  Increase fan speed.

•   Fill humidifier with water

Fan running continuously

•  Float is obstructed

•  Humidity level is set to highest

position

•  Humidity level has reached the

desired level yet

•  Free float from obstruction

•  Setting  the humidity to highest position (65%)

causes the fan to run continuously Adjust to a

level lower

•  Continue to run until desired humidity level is

achieved. This may take up to 48 hours initially

Poor evaporation of water

•  Check Filter message (CF) mes-

sage flashing

•  Mineral buildup on filter (wick)

•  Change to a new wick

NOTE:

Local water varies from area to area and

under certain conditions minerals will build up more

rapidly in the wick

•  Unplug unit for 1-2 minutes to reset CF function

Neither bottle emptying

•  Unit is not level

•  Bottle cap plunger not hitting post

in bottom of cabinet

•  Ensure unit is placed on level area

•  Check orientation of bottles

•  Reposition so that bottle cap plunger (stem) is

depressed by post in bottom of cabinet

•  Change to new wick

Bottles continue to empty

after complete filling

•  Air is entering water bottle

•  Check the valve assembly caps to ensure

tightness

•  Check for leak in water bottle

Left bottle not emptying

•  Right bottle contains water
•  This is normal for initial filling

•  The humidifier is designed so that right bottle

empties first

•  Ensure unit is level

•  Refill bottle for maximum run time

Refill display “F” is on before

bottles are empty

•  Unit is not set up on a level

surface (Float will not sense water

at the front of the cabinet)

•  Position unit level (Some carpet padding may

allow unit to sit lower in the front than rear with

the additional weight of water bottles in the front

of the cabinet

“CF” message does not appear

even when wick is dirty or hu-

midifier performance is clearly

reduced

•  Power failure has caused the CF

message to prematurely reset

•  Replace wick, if needed

•  Unplug unit for 30 seconds Then plug in again

to clear display

Display blinks or fan moves

slightly when humidifier is

plugged in

•  Normal

• No action required

Alternating “F” and room

humidity displayed

•  Bottles are empty

•  Float is not engaging switch lever

•  Refill bottles

•  Reposition chassis or replace float

Alternating “CF” and room

humidity displayed

•  Wick may be dirty

•  Replace wick, if needed

•  Unplug unit for 30 seconds then plug in again

to clear display

Display flashes “20”

•  ROOM Humidity is lower than 20%  • Will read actual humidity when level

   comes up to 25%

Display flashes ”—“

•  Unit initiating

•  Room humidity is over 90%

•  Room humidity will display after initiation is

complete

•  Will remain until humidity drops below 90%
