INSTALLING THE HEAT SHIELD
Finished photo of heat shield installed on right-side (passenger) exhaust (fig. 34).
1 . Bend the tabs on the heat shield to provide a 1/2” dead air space between exhaust pipe
and heat shield (fig. 35).
2. Attach the heat shield to the exhaust pipe using the clamps (fig. 36). Bend the heat shield
for maximum clearance to the air spring .
