4.3 Filter Maintenance (continued)
4.3.5 Instructions for changing filter elements

Disconnect power to the dryer and depressurize before attempting any type of
maintenance.

Using a ½” drive ratchet handle, unscrew and remove the top cover from the filter
housing.

Remove the filter element by pulling straight up with a slow, steady pressure.

Install the replacement filter element by slowly inserting it straight down into the
filter housing and gently seating it into place. The flow direction should be in to
out as shown by the arrow on the label on the filter housing. The wide end of the
handle is on the inlet side of the filter element.

Replace the top cover and tighten until snug.
