How To Use:
Prepare the Bed for Mounting to the EasyMove Transport System:
1. Remove all linen and mattress dressing from the bed
2. Position mattress platform to neutral (flat)
3. Disconnect ACP lead, remove head and foot boards from the bed frame
and place on the mattress platform
4. Insert all bed extensions to the minimum length (foot and head end) and secure
5. Remove the wall buffer. Hang the hooked end over the EasyMove handle crossbar
6. Check wall buffer mounting barrels have securing springs in place so they
cannot hang vertically. If not, attach securing springs or zip tie the barrels
to the bed legs
Attach the Bed to the EasyMove Transport System:
7. Place an EasyMove trolley at either end of the bed. The narrower width base
castors face in towards the bed
8. Position the pivoting bed attachment arms horizontally so the safety clip
is to the right of the quick release axle
9. Lower the bed until the bed frame axle mount is level with the quick release
axle on each EasyMove trolley
10. While pressing the quick release axle button push the EasyMove trolley
gently forward, fully inserting the axle into the receiver
11. Ensure the alignment pin to the left of the axle inserts into the bed frame
and safety clip to the right of axle is engaged – you will hear a click as it
engages over the frame
12. Repeat for second trolley
Attach the Bed Head and Foot Board to the EasyMove Transport System:
13. Hold the foot board horizontally so the bed end attachment pegs face down
and the top of the foot board faces the centre of the bed
14. Lower the foot board inserting the attachment pegs into the horizontal
mounting brackets
15. Fasten hand wheels to lock in place
16. Repeat for head board
17. If a Self Help Pole or IV Pole are present, these can remain attached to
the bed head board but should be positioned to avoid impact with the
mattress platform
