7.5 KING SINGLE CONVERSION KIT ASSEMBLY

The FL250 King Single Conversion Kit is designed to retrofit a Single FL250 bed 

into a King Single.

King Single FL250 beds are available separately (BEB046150).

Each kit section attaches to a platform section of the bed, increasing the bed 

width from 900m (Single) to 1070mm (King Single).

Carton Contents:

•  1 x HEAD section LEFT (longest) – unique to this section and side
•  1 x HEAD section RIGHT (longest) – unique to this section and side
•  2 x MID section LEFT/RIGHT (shortest) – fits left/right side of this section
•  2 x KNEE section LEFT/RIGHT (second shortest) – fits left/right side of this section
•  1 x FOOT section LEFT (second longest) – unique to this section and side
•  1 x FOOT section RIGHT (second longest) – unique to this section and side
•  Bolts, washers & spacers

NOTE: If Side Panels are already fitted to the single bed, they must be removed 

before the King Single Conversion Kit can be attached.

Recommended Tools:

•  Power Drill
•  Right Angled Power Drill Adaptor

Fastening King Single Conversion Kit to the FL250 Bed Frame

1.  For best access to the bed frame sides to attach the kit sections,  

use the FL250 EasyMove Transport System and pivot the bed vertically

2.  Ensure the kit sections are matched to the correct platform section and  

left/right side as per the list above – some are unique to SECTION AND  

LEFT/RIGHT side

3.  Place the kit section on the matching platform section. The top of the kit 

section should be flush with the top of the mattress platform

4.  Line up the kit section bolt holes with bed frame bolt holes
5.  Insert the bolt and washer and fasten
6.  Fasten firmly – use a right angled power drill adaptor for easier access  

to the nut head, apply high torque

7.  Repeat for all kit sections – check to ensure all are correctly attached  

upon completion
