Electrical connection
The connection to the power supply is made by the
operator.

WARNING
Connect the appliance to the power
supply.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or over-
load.
Only qualified staff may carry out work
on the electrical system.
Before connecting to the power supply,
observe the following:
Applicable local electrical safety regu-
lations.
Applicable standards and safety in-
structions.
Information on the rating plate
(see
→
chapter 11.3).
Mains voltage and mains frequency
must match the information on the rat-
ing plate.
Do not connect a damaged device or
damaged parts (such as connecting ca-
bles) to the power supply.
Only qualified staff may replace dam-
aged parts, e.g. connecting cables.
Do not squeeze or bend the mains
power cable.
Adhere to the minimum requirements for
connecting cables
(se
e → chapter 3.2).
Fuse the appliance in accordance with
the applicable regulations and laws as
well as the specifications issued by AHT
(see
→ chapter 8.2).
Only connect the appliance to a mains
circuit with protective earthing.
Do not use extension cords or multiple
socket strips.
Do not damage concealed electrical
parts. Do not drill into the appliance or
carry out any other work on it.
