WARNING

▪ Observe applicable local requirements (for example, for electrical installation and operating of
the device).
▪ Follow the applicable standards and safety instructions.
▪ Provide adequate protection.
▪ Never operate the unit without a circuit braker.
▪ Never operate the unit without a residual current circuit breaker.
▪ Never connect more than 1 unit to an electrical fuse.
8 Commissioning
The unit must only be commissioned in the intended installation room and after checking for com-
pleteness.
The commissioning of a unit can be conducted by the operator.
WARNING
Damage to the electrical system and/or the refrigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may cause electric shock. The refrigerant can escape and create an explo-
sive gas/air mixture. Risk of fire due to sparks or overloading.
▪ Do not commission a damaged unit.
▪ Do not connect any damaged unit or damaged parts (e.g. connection cables) to the power sup-
ply.
▪ Damaged parts (such as connection cables) must only be replaced by trained staff.
▪ Observe the safety and warning information for units with flammable refrigerants (see
→Flammable refrigerant ).
▪ If the unit is damaged contact the maintenance service (see →Maintenance services).
NOTICE
Property damage due to incorrect ambient conditions.
▪ Adjust the unit to the ambient temperature before commissioning.
▪ The ambient temperature must not be less than 16 °C (60,8 °F).
1. Plug in the mains plug of the unit connection cable (see →Electrical connection).
2. Where fitted, switch on the On/Off-switch (see →Electrical connection) at the rear.

– After a short delay of approx. 60 seconds, the unit starts to operate.
9 Operation (use)
Only trained operating staff are allowed to operate the unit.
