5 Transport and storage
Examine the unit for transport damage after delivery.
Contact the maintenance service in case of damage (see →Maintenance services).
WARNING
Damage to refrigerant circuit.
Flammable refrigerant can escape and create an explosive gas/air mixture. Risk of fire.
▪ Do not expose the unit during storage and transport to temperatures higher than 70 °C (158
°F).
▪ Ensure good ventilation.
▪ Observe the safety and warning information for units with flammable refrigerants (see
→Flammable refrigerant ).
▪ If the unit is damaged contact the maintenance service (see →Maintenance services).
WARNING
Transport of the units with floor trucks.
Risk of injury to persons during collisions.
▪ Observe the transport routes for forklift trucks.
▪ Secure the cargo.
▪ Forklift trucks must only be operated by trained persons.
▪ Observe the details for the stacking height on the packaging.
NOTICE
Material damage due to transport and storage.
▪ Transport and store the unit only in the position of use (horizontal alignment).
▪ If the unit was inclined during transport, wait a minimum of 2 hours before commissioning.
▪ When delivering, ensure continuous accessibility up to the installation room. (Observe the tran-
sit heights/widths/installation space and adequate shunting radii).
▪ Do not store the unit outdoors.
6 Unpacking
Check the unit for damage (bumps, scratches) before and during unpacking.
Contact the maintenance service in case of damage (see →Maintenance services).

Disposal of packaging material and films.
Danger of suffocation.
▪ Keep packaging material and foils away from children.
▪ Do not let children play with them.
