•
It is important to keep the area next to the heat
pump pool heater clear of shrubs, bushes and
chemicals containers. They could prevent air from
circulating fully through the heat pump pool heater,
and will affect the operation of the heat pump pool
heater or damage the heat pump pool heater.
• When installed in areas where freezing tempera-
tures can be encountered, drain the water circuit
to prevent possible freeze-up damage. Refer to
Freeze Protection section on pg. 33 for proper pro-
cedures.
• If the location of the HPPH is below the water line
of the pool, the Water Pressure Switch (WPS) or
Water Flow Switch (WFS) might need to be adjust-
ed or an external WFS might be needed.
• For high wind installation requirements, refer to
the Fig. 3 on page 8.
