Gear shift for mower drive
Regularly check the adjustment of the tensioning
pulley for the mower drive
•
Remove the plastic front cover (A/7) from
the brush mower.
1. The upper side of the tensioning pulley (G/1)
must be approx. 8 mm below the upper level
of the housing. If necessary, make the ad-
justment by mechanical bending.
2. With the clutch lever for mower drive (A/1)
fully depressed, the tensioning pulley (G/1)
must sufficiently tension the V-belt (D/8) -
the spring on the cable must be pre-
tensioned approx. 2 mm compared to the
loose condition. Eliminate the vibration of
the pulley by means of the Bowden cable
adjusting screw (H/1) and the adjusting
screw on the clutch lever (A/2).
•
Install the plastic cover at the front (A/7)
again.
Put the machine only into operation
when all protective devices and safety devic-
es are in protective position and functional!
