Type in the following information in the IP address , Subnet mask , and
Default gateway text boxes.
IP address: 10.0.0.1
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0

Configuring DHCP
To configure DHCP, you need to update the DHCP configuration file
(
dhcpd.conf
), restart the DHCP service, and update the DHCP registry
file (
dhcpd.reg
) and the system registry.

To update the DHCP configuration file

Go to the
c:\dhcpdnt
directory.

Open the
dhcpd.conf
file in a text editor.

Modify the
subnet
,
netmask
, and
range dynamic-bootp
parameters,
as desired.
4 Save the
dhcpd.conf
file.
5 Close the
dhcpd.conf
file.
To restart the DHCP service

Click Start - Settings - Control Panel .
The Control Panel window appears.
2 Double- click the Administrative Tools icon.
The Administrative Tools window appears.

Double- click the Services icon.
The Services window appears.

connected with the chassis.
