ISDN SETUP menu
In MONITOR mode, when you choose
ISDN SETUP
in
the
MAIN SETUP
menu, aurora
Duet
displays the
ISDN
SETUP
menu.
This allows you to change the protocol and the encoding
type. You can also switch between basic and primary
rate, select an interface and switch U-termination on and
off.

Settings in the ISDN SETUP menu
To define each of the following settings, highlight it and
use the
LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to toggle between
the available choices.
PROTOCOL
Selects the protocol to be used.
You can choose any of
protocols available to you.
ENCODING
Sets the voice encoding. You
can choose either
A-LAW
or
μ-
LAW
—μ-law is the type most
commonly used in the US.
