P ackaging
Con tainers and materials iden tical to those used in factory-pack aging
are a v ailable. Con tact y our lo cal Agilent oce for information. If y ou
pac k age the detector using commercially a v ailable material, follo w
these instructions:
1. W rap the detector in hea vy pap er.
2. Use a strong shipping con tainer that has a double-w all carton of
at least 350-p ound test material.
3. Provide a rm cushion that prev en ts mov emen t inside the
con tainer.
4. Use a 5 to 7 cm (3 to 4 inc h) lay er of sho c k-absorbing material
around all sides of the detector.
5. Seal the shipping con tainer securely .
6. Markthe shipping con tainer FRAGILE .
