There will be approximately one inch of water remaining in each tank.

Use clean, lint-free towels (paper or cloth) to soak up water in the tanks.
CAUTION
!
Do not use a wet vacuum (for example, a Shop-Vac
®
Wet/Dry vacuum) to remove the remaining
water. The vacuum nozzle could contaminate the tanks.
4.
Using lint-free tissues (for example, chem wipes), wipe down the interior surface of
both the waste and supply tanks with ethanol. Also wipe down the interior surface of
the tank lids.

Tissue wipes saturated with ethanol are flammable. Dispose of them properly.
5.
Wait 15 minutes to allow the ethanol to evaporate.
6.
Put the lids back on the tanks.
7.
Leave the tank access off.
8.
Close the main door and tap the
HOME
button
in “safety interlock is engaged”
on-screen message.
Flushing the wash
system
Fill the external supply tank with 65% ethanol solution:
1.
Prepare 3 liters of 65% (by volume) ethanol/water (Type 1, > 18.2
M
Ω)
solution.
2.
Pour the ethanol/water solution into the external supply tank.
3.
Place the supply tubing back into the tank and put the lid back on.
Make sure that the end of the tubing with the metal fitting is at the bottom of the
reservoir so that air will not be drawn into the tubing. The metal fitting helps
compensate for the tendency of the tubing to float when it is empty.
Pump the 65% ethanol solution into the internal supply tank:
