6.2.4 Installation and adjustment of the proximity switch
Fixable proximity switches are used for end position sensing of the CS modules.
These proximity switches are mounted in the C-slot on the top of the module
housing.

Function monitoring during end position sensing is performed via an LED on the
proximity switch. If the LED does not change its switching state during the end
position sensing, the proximity switch is incorrectly set or defective and must be
reset or replaced (

Chapter 8.3 “Troubleshooting”). In addition, the ring
magnet may be missing or defective.
The proximity switch is a magnetic cylinder sensor for easy teaching of 2
sensing positions.
The proximity switches are not included in the scope of delivery


Only the specified proximity switches may be used!
In combination with magnetic field producing modules, interference may
occur when using the magnetic sensors.
