3.3.2 Rackmount installation - preparations

Place the UPS horizontally on a table or
desk.
2.
Re-position the operating panel: remove
the 2 screws that hold the panel and
rotate the panel 90 degrees
counterclockwise. Don’t pull out the
panel! Tighten the 2 screws again.

Install the two mounting brackets that
came with the unit using the screws
provided.
4.
Connect the DC connector of the
internal batteries.
5.
Assemble the front panel: insert the two
metal clamps at the rear of the panel
into the holes at the right side of the
UPS, then click the front panel into
position.
6.
Install the UPS into a 19’ rack. The UPS
cabinet must be supported by mounting
rails, do not mount it by using the
mounting brackets only. Fix the
mounting brackets on the 19 inch
enclosure with screws.
The VH Series UPS is now ready for further
connections, please proceed with section
3.3.3.
