LIMITED WARRANTY

Customer should not repackage and ship the Origins because
irreparable damage can occur. For warranty service, please contact
your nearest Aerus Location. Aerus warrants the components and
parts of the Origins WC400, subject to the conditions below, to be free
of material defects in materials and workmanship for the specified
periods listed:

•  10 Years (120 months) –

 Polyglass Reinforced Pressure Vessel, the

Cabinetry and the Regenerant Tank are warranted for a period of
ten (10) years from the date of installation. The warranty specifically
covers material defects in materials and workmanship in which the
Polyglass Reinforced Pressure Vessel, Cabinetry, or the Regenerant
Tank leak due to structural failure or material defect. Any cosmetic
or physical appearance changes such as color fade or structural
deterioration due to ultraviolet exposure are not covered under the
terms of this warranty. 

•  7 Years (84 months) –

Ion Exchange Resin is warranted for seven

(7) years provided adequate pre-treatment equipment is installed
prior to the WC400 unit. Failure of the Ion Exchange Resin due to
water conditions such as Chlorine and Ferrous Iron (clear water
iron) is not covered by the limited warranty. If adequate whole house
point-of-entry (POE) pre-treatment equipment is not installed, the
Ion Exchange Resin is warranted for one (1) year (12 months) from
the date of installation. Improper maintenance of pre-treatment
equipment will nullify the Ion Exchange Resin portion of the warranty.

•

7 Years (84 months) –

Control Valve Body and internal valve parts

are warranted for seven (7) years from the date of installation.

•

5 Years (60 months) –

Electronic Control and the Model 1265

Bypass are warranted for five (5) years from the date of installation.

•

1 Year (12 months) –

All other components and parts not

previously mentioned are warranted for one (1) year from the date of
installation.

Should a material defect in workmanship or materials covered by this
warranty become evident during the term of the warranty, then upon
the consumer following the procedures set forth below, Aerus will, at
its sole option and in fulfillment of its obligations arising under this
warranty, replace such defective item or part. This limited warranty
explicitly covers only the replacement of defective parts and does not
include the labor cost to remove and/or replace defective parts.
Aerus is not responsible under this warranty for any costs incurred for
labor, trip charges, or shipping charges to replace any defective parts.
In addition, Aerus is not liable for any loss of time, inconvenience, or
incidental expenses incurred in connection with the use or inability to
use the system, removal or replacement of the equipment, or any other
incidental or consequential charges.
Furthermore, Aerus is not responsible for damage caused by accident,
fire, flood, freezing, Acts of God, misuse, misapplication, neglect,
oxidizing agents (such as chlorine, ozone, chloramines and other
related oxidizers), commercial use, leaking, alterations, installation,
maintenance or operation contrary to our printed instructions in the
Operations Manual, or by the use of accessories or components which
do not meet Aerus specifications. In addition, Aerus is not responsible
for installation related failures, including but not limited to, improper
affixed drain lines or failure of the plumbing hook-up. Ordinary wear

and tear shall not be considered a defect in workmanship or material.
Servicing your WC400 by parties other than an authorized Aerus
representative and/or using parts other than genuine Aerus parts will
also void this warranty.
In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, the consumer who
made the original purchase must contact an Aerus location as soon
as possible after discovery of the defect, but in no event later than
the expiration date of the warranty period provided in this warranty.
The consumer can also contact Aerus for assistance in locating an
Aerus location in your area for service. The limited warranty covers
components and or parts of the system only.
No dealer or other person has any authority to make any warranties or
representations concerning Aerus or its products. Accordingly, Aerus is
not responsible for any such warranties or representations.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND ARE IN LIEU OF
ALL OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER
(EITHER IN FACT OR BY OPERATION OF LAW), INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

If any provision of this warranty or part thereof is held by a court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable,
the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions
or parts thereof will not in any way be affected or impaired within
the jurisdiction of that court. This entire warranty shall continue to
be valid, legal and enforceable in any jurisdiction where a similar
determination has not been made.
