4.4. Wet Cut Rotary Union Removal
If the rotary union shaft becomes scratched or damaged, it will be necessary for the rotary union to be
replaced in order to properly seal the system. Figure 4-9 shows a view of the rotary union assembly. The pro-
cedure for replacement is as follows.
To minimize the possibility of bodily injury, confirm that all electrical power is disconnected
prior to making any mechanical adjustments.

1. Remove power and disconnect water from the stage.
2. Remove water inlet fitting and rotary union cover (see Section 4.3.3. for the removal procedure).
