Irregularity
Possible reasons
Unit failed to start.
• No power supply.
• Check whether the supply cable is damaged.
• Make sure there are no supply anomalies.
• Have the fuse replaced by a professional.
• Wait for the power supply to be restored.
• Four minutes have not elapsed since switch-off.
• The room temperature is lower than the value set
in cooling mode, or higher than the value set in
heating mode.
• The voltage is too low.
• The unit is positioned in an environment with
temperatures outside the operating limits.
• The condensate discharge tray is full.
Noise increases suddenly during operation.
• Noise increases just after starting the compressor.
• Power supply problem.
• The unit is positioned on an irregular surface.
The level of humidity does not go down.
• The area to dehumidify is too large. Unit capacity
may not be adequate.
• The doors of the room are open.
• There may be a device that produces vapour in the
room.
The level of humidity goes down only a small
amount or does not go down.
• The room temperature is too low.
• The set-point level may not be set correctly.
• If the unit is operating in a room where the
temperature is between 5 and 15 °C, compressor
defrosting will start automatically for a short period
of time (the fan will run at a high speed).
• When the unit has completed defrosting, it will
return to normal operation.
The unit emits a bad smell.
• There may be a strange odour at the beginning
due to the increase in the temperature of the heat
exchanger.

Remove the source and clean the filter.
The unit whistles.
