Model 8510
• The DTR
®
8510 must be charged indoors.
• Disconnect the charger upon completion of the charging
process. NiMH battery manufacturers do not allow trickle charge
for a long time on a recurring basis.
Note:
• The DTR
®
8510 Power Switch must be in the OFF/CHARGE
position in order for the unit to charge.
• The DTR
®
8510 cannot be used to test while it is charging.
• There is no indication on the front panel about the status of
charging or its completion. The Status LED is on the charger unit
itself (see Figure 8-1).
