USB Interface Update
Requirements
•
Software “Mprog.exe”. This software is provided by FTDI Technology and it is not needed to install; just
run the executable.
USB Interface Update Procedure
To update the description information in the USB module, follow the steps below:
1. Connect the computer to the AEMC 6292 using an USB cable.
2. Launch the Mprog.exe.
3. In the main menu, choose
File > Open
, find and select the file
AEMC6292.ept
located in the “Template”
directory.
4. In the main menu, choose
Device > Program
to perform the update.
5. If successful, the message “Programmed Serial Number: xxxxx” will be displayed in the text box on the bottom
of the Mprog screen.
